WASHINGTON, D.C. — The HBCU House CBC Edition, a culture-forward experience created by HBCU Buzz, will bring together HBCU alumni, graduates of other Black colleges, young professionals, executives, public servants, athletes, creators and tastemakers during Congressional Black Caucus Week in Washington, D.C.
Hosted at The Gathering Spot DC, this highly anticipated experience will celebrate the people, ideas and relationships shaping the future of the Black community. More than an event, HBCU House is designed to serve as a home base for Black college culture during some of the nation’s most influential cultural, professional and civic moments.
HBCU House CBC Edition Celebrates Culture and Connection
The HBCU House CBC Edition will create an intentional environment where attendees can reconnect with their college communities, expand their professional networks and celebrate the lasting influence of Black colleges.
The experience welcomes graduates from every generation and industry, including leaders working across business, government, media, entertainment, technology, education, sports, philanthropy and the creative economy.
“HBCU culture deserves a space that reflects its influence, excellence and reach,” said HBCU Buzz founder and CEO Luke Lawal Jr. “HBCU House is where our community can connect, celebrate and feel at home.”
The CBC Edition represents the latest chapter in HBCU House’s growing lineup of experiences. Each activation is designed to place HBCU culture at the center of major national moments while creating meaningful opportunities for alumni, students, brands and community leaders to connect.
Future HBCU House experiences are planned around influential moments in sports, technology, art, entertainment and culture. Through these activations, HBCU House will continue building a national platform that recognizes the reach, talent and collective power of the Black college community.
